CAMP DESCRIPTION: This week-long summer session will explore various basic techniques in EVA foam costume and mask making used by cosplayers and theater prop artists. Campers will use their inspiration to develop their own hero or villain and create wearable masks and accessories based on that character and to tell their backstory. Campers will use 2D design software and laser cutters to take their sketches from concept to reality as well as a variety of techniques to build sculpt, texturize, and paint their props to enhance their appearance. Campers will take home their creations with the goal to make one mask and two accessories.

AGES: 10-15

DATE & TIME: Half-day camp sessions run from 7/15/24 through 7/19/24 9:00am-12:00pm. Early drop-off begins at 8:30am each day.

COST: $300 per student.
