 rience camp incorporates hands-on\, project-based learning activities with
  digital design and fabrication tools. Over the course of five half-day se
 ssions\, students are introduced to two-dimensional computer aided design 
 software and a variety of Roland print and cut fabrication machines. Stude
 nts are challenged to conceptualize and create a personal brand\, includin
 g fonts\, images\, and colors\, through a series of design challenges. Sam
 ple challenges include designing a single-color silhouette sticker\, desig
 ning a multi-color print and cut sticker\, and designing a cut and heat tr
 ansfer t-shirt. Each challenge incorporates student designed and digitally
  fabricated elements. Throughout the process\, students develop iterative 
 problem-solving\, critical-thinking\, self-assessment\, and team-building 
 skills.\n\nAGES:  Students entering 5th thru 8th grade for the 2022/2023 s
 chool year.\n\nDATE & TIME:  Session 2 is Monday\, June 27 to Friday\, Jul
 y 1 from 9:00am to Noon.\n\nCOST:  $140 per student.\n\nSCHOLARSHIPS:  To 
 broaden access to young people in our community\, a reduced cost of $100 p
